Our Story

We both worked at the same TV station in the US. He was a statewide news producer. I sold commercial airspace. Good jobs. Stable jobs. The kind everyone tells you to be grateful for.

Then in 2018, we went to a friend’s wedding. We had to beg for time off to attend. We lost money being there. And standing at that reception, something clicked: we were trading our entire lives for two weeks a year. We didn’t want to ask permission to live anymore.

So we quit.

We became seasonal resort workers — Florida Keys, San Juan Island, Big Sky, Alaska — working a season, saving money, traveling the rest. We started learning content creation in 2018 from absolute scratch. First collab in 2019 was a barter. We built slowly, on purpose.

Then COVID hit. Our account was just starting to gain traction. A baby was on the way. Everyone said stop. We didn’t stop.

By summer 2021 — with a one-year-old on our hip — we started a brand new account from zero. Under 1,000 followers, we got paid to spend three months at an all-inclusive resort in Greece. We traveled the world continuously from 2021 to 2023, 90+ countries between us. Now we live in Málaga, Spain, raising Alaska (6) and Atlas (2) as global citizens.
